Our Young Professionals Meetup this month was a great success. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Mentimeter offices in Toronto.
This session was part of our ongoing collaboration with the Canada Finland Chamber of Commerce (CFCC), the Swedish Canadian Chamber of Commerce (SCCC), and the Danish Canadian Chamber of Commerce (DCCC). We were happy to welcome a strong mix of students and young professionals who joined us to learn, connect and exchange ideas.

Inside Mentimeter: Building a fast, fun and fearless tech culture
Presented by Maggie Bryce, Country Manager at Mentimeter, this talk offered an inside look at how Mentimeter creates a people-first culture that encourages innovation and keeps teams energized and connected.
Low Budget, High Impact: The Smart Start to Investing
Ian Haar, Investment Advisor at CIBC, shared practical guidance on how young professionals can begin investing with confidence, even with smaller budgets, and how to build toward long-term financial goals.
The combination of insights into tech culture and approachable financial advice made the evening especially valuable. Networking continued well past the formal program as attendees connected over career paths, opportunities and shared Nordic ties.
