What an inspiring evening at our latest Young Professionals event!
We had the pleasure of bringing together an engaged group of young professionals for Road to Entrepreneurship: Real Stories from Those Who Did It, hosted at The Rivoli in Toronto. The discussion offered an honest and insightful look into the realities of entrepreneurship — from taking the first steps to navigating challenges and building something meaningful over time.
A heartfelt thank you to our speakers, Marika Arovuo and John Christensen, for sharing their personal journeys, lessons learned, and perspectives with such openness. From global career moves and starting a business from scratch to running and growing a successful venue, their stories truly resonated with the audience.
Thank you also to Sabina Hirsbrunner for guiding the conversation as moderator, and to John Christensen and The Rivoli team for hosting us and creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for the evening.
To wrap up the night, we had some fun with an open mic round of Two Truths and a Lie — a great way to get everyone involved and guessing!
