Event Recap: Nordic Consular Cup Golf Tournament 2026

On September 9, the Finnish, Swedish and Danish Canadian Chambers of Commerce came together at the Royal Ontario Golf Club for the 16th Annual Nordic Consular Cup Golf Tournament — and what a day it was.

This year’s tournament brought together a full shotgun of 140 golfers for an afternoon of golf, networking, friendly competition and plenty of Nordic spirit.

The course was buzzing throughout the day, with sponsor activities and contests on nearly every hole. Golfers had four Hole-in-One opportunities, along with long-drive competitions, giveaways, refreshments and plenty of other activities that made the day about much more than just the final score.

After the last putts were made, everyone gathered for cocktails, dinner, the awards ceremony and raffle.

Sweden Takes the Cup — Again!

The friendly rivalry between the Nordic countries is always an important part of the tournament, and this year Team Sweden successfully defended the Nordic Consular Cup, winning the trophy for the second year in a row.

Congratulations to Team Sweden — the pressure is now officially on Finland and Denmark for next year!

Beyond the competition, the Nordic Consular Cup continues to be an opportunity to bring together members of the Nordic and Canadian business communities in a relaxed setting where new connections can be made and existing relationships strengthened.
