On June 4, CFCC members and guests gathered at Nokia’s Toronto offices for our 2026 Annual General Meeting — an evening to reflect on the past year, conduct the Chamber’s annual business, and reconnect with the Finnish-Canadian business community.
The AGM provided an opportunity to review CFCC’s activities and financials, address governance matters, and look ahead to the Chamber’s priorities for the coming year. An important part of this year’s AGM was also the nomination of the CFCC Board of Directors for the next three-year term, ensuring continued leadership and continuity as the Chamber moves forward.
With close to 45 attendees, the evening also provided a great opportunity for networking and conversation among members, partners and friends of the Chamber.

Another longstanding part of the CFCC AGM program is the OP Credit Union Entrepreneur of the Year Award ceremony, recognizing entrepreneurial achievement within the Finnish-Canadian community. This year, the award was presented to Niemi Farm. Congratulations to Niemi Farm on this well-deserved recognition.
A special thank you to Nokia for welcoming us to their offices and providing a wonderful setting for the evening. We are also very grateful to Prelia Canada LLP for its generous sponsorship, which helped support the event and CFCC member participation.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to another successful AGM. CFCC continues to be a volunteer-led organization focused on strengthening business connections between Finland and Canada and creating opportunities for its members to connect, collaborate and grow.
